Has it been that long?

Wow I can't believe that it has been almost a month since my last post! Where did July go?

I have been so busy with Ethan and the new puppy. They are a handful! I also was in a contest at Memorable Season called The Last Scrapper Standing. Each week the design team issues a challenge and and you have until Friday to complete. Then the members vote on the favorites. This contest lasts for 6 weeks and I made all the way to the top five. I was so excited about that!

I have also been working on a Disney album. I wanted to create a bright and fun album and I think I did it! I used red, white and black for most of the album. I tried something different with the ribbon on the binder rings. I think it gives the album a whole new look. Here a some pictures. I just listed this on ebay.

Until next time...

New month by month baby album

Hi there!

I have been busy creating another album. This one was so much fun to create. I bought these month by month journal cards from Memorable Season and really wanted to use them. I thought they would be perfect in a month by month album. I used a lot of goodies in this album. It turned out so soft and sweet! Anyway here are some pictures:)

Until next time..

New album

Been spending a lot of time in my scrapbook room. Since school is out my life and schedule is so off. I need to get on a different schedule. Then just when I get use to the new schedule, school starts back!

I have been working on a cascading chipboard album. I was at Joanns and they had these albums marked down so I grabbed one. I have never made one of these before. They were easy until I made a few boo boos. I decorated each page at different times. I had just completed a page and noticed that I embellished it on the wrong corner. So I had to punched new holes and somehow cover the holes. I made the little tree trunk out of some fabric that I had laying around. After all the boo boos I have to say that it turned out pretty cute. I wanted a bright and summer feel to the album.

Have a great day!

Cool graphics and a beauty

I was going through my vintage graphics and found some neat ones that I thought I would share. I also have some beautiful pictures of Hannah and Mason that I wanted to share. These were taken at Easter. She looked so pretty in her purple dress. Got to get my scrapbooking mojo going and get these pictures in my album!

Have a great day and be kind to each other!

Where has the time gone!

WoW! So much has happened since my last post. School got out, my husband left for a seven day trip to France, been scrapbooking like crazy, rushing to sign our son up for camps(found two really good ones) and my grandson came for a nice visit and sleep over.

Over at Memorable Seasons they had a challenge to create a layout in your favorite color. You could only use one color. At first I thought this was going to be hard. Once I got started it was so easy. I picked my color, pink, and everything just fell into place. I used some old Prima paper..Nursery Tales that I found at Michaels. The 96 sheet pad was 9.99. I wish they had more I would have grabbed another one. I created the banner from scratch. The vine is from Dusty Attic and I added some shine with my fruit punch stickles. I don't think it is possible for me to create a layout without the following...flowers, butterflies or stickles.

Take care and be kind to one another!

Until next time..

Bo Bunny Timepiece album

I wanted to create something special to celebrate my husband and sons relationship. I must admit that this album was so hard for me because I did not use one flower or butterfly! Now I know it can be done!

I really didn't have a plan for this, I just went with the flow. Well having Bo Bunny's Timepiece collection helped a lot. Burlap and clocks were going to be the main embellishments for this album. I chose some of my favorite pictures to showcase and I wrote each of them a special note. I think I cried the whole time I created this album:) They were good tears.

Below is what I came up with.

Take care and be kind to one another!
